Fantastic Ways to Promote Your Facebook Fan Page

Businesses having Facebook Fan pages can exploit the huge potential that Facebook offers in terms of getting visitors, since Facebook is second only to Google for sheer number of visitors.

That's why not only should you have a Facebook Fan page but you should also actively promote it, and here we will tell you how:

Invite people from your Facebook Friend Lists:

Do you have your personal friends and professional colleagues segmented into lists on your Facebook home page? If you do, then you can invite these lists as groups to your Facebook fan page instead of sending individual invites. This is the easiest and fastest way to jump-start your fan base.

It is normal that you see results after a few days, people are busy in this day and age, but they will come around, maybe after a little poke.

As you add more people to your network, remember to go back to your same lists and send the invite to the new people you've added. The names of those who have already been invited will be grayed out and the invite will only be sent to your new contacts.

Find people with Facebook Search:

The updated Facebook Search feature (see the Search bar at the top of Facebook) gives you a view into conversations of your friends and status updates that may even show you who may be looking for the services you provide. There is even an option to search "Posts by Everyone," which gives you a glimpse into conversations of people who may not even be connected to you. After entering a search term, there will be a display, "Posts By Everyone." This allows you to view conversations from others who aren't in your friend lists.

Place adverts in Facebook Social Ads:

Social Ads provide advertisements alongside your Facebook sidebar that show related actions your friends have taken on the site. It is possible to tailor ads to your friends and their interests, which makes it more appealing for them to take action because you are interested as well.

This strategy needs a small budget, but can be very effective in finding your target market. It is very important to do a Facebook search with specific keywords in your particular niche to find out if it's being talked about on Facebook.

If you click on "Promote With an Ad" on your fan page, you can start a campaign. You can set a daily spending limit of something like £10 or any other comfortable amount. It's possible to run your Facebook ads for only 4 to 5 days with a £10 per day budget. Then stop the ad for a few weeks if you like and run the same ad again. This allows your fan page to grow in spurts without spending a lot of money at once.

Facebook Fan Page Twitter application:

The Facebook Fan Page Twitter application is a great tool that brings your Twitter following back to your fan page. When you post a status update, a link or a photo (you can choose) on your Facebook fan page, there will be an update to Twitter with a shortened bit.ly link back to your fan page. This is just pure genius to drive traffic from another source right to your page.

There are other Facebook and Twitter integration applications; however, this is the one that leads people directly back to your page. This gives them an option to become a fan of your page right at that moment if they click on the bit.ly link from Twitter.

Facebook Fan Box Widget:

The Facebook Fan Box Widget is a great feature to add to your blog or website. This widget allows you to show your fan base and allows others to become fans instantly. This is just one way to promote your page across several social media sites. It is important to cross-reference all of your social media sites so others can find you and your websites on other networks.

4 Simple yet powerful ways to promote your Facebook fan page

Facebook fan pages are the hottest thing on the net right now!  Entrepreneurs, movie stars and even churches are find, how effectively they radically can change, interacting with the fans.

Not to forget the viral marketing exposure, they can deliver for a company!  In fact more your "fans" interact with the page, the more your page be exposed, that person friends!

Promoting your Facebook fan page can however a bit difficult if you don't know what you are doing.

So I want you today shows you help4 simple and yet powerful ways you can your Facebook fan page to promote:

(1) Create a custom user name

** NOTE **

You must be at least 25 fans of your Facebook fan page suitable for a custom user name to have.

A custom user name is now pretty easy to get on Facebook.  And in fact, this strategy works well for your Facebook fan page and your personal Facebook profile.

From a marketing perspective you can brand a custom user name (or user-defined URL) easily your fan page on things like Web sites, business cards, documents, etc...

Also a custom user name makes it easier for you, and others say how man there (again, look at the 2 above mentioned addresses for example).

Create a custom Facebook user name & URL

The way you create a custom username for your Facebook fan page (and also your personal profile) by first visiting is http:// Facebook. com / username.

This page opens by default in the profile option.  Look under shaded box and click on the link "create a username for your pages."

You will then be able to go and create your custom username for your Facebook fan page.

(2) Embed your Facebook fan box

When you visit your Facebook fan page, and then search under your profile picture, you will find the following link:

"Add fan box to your site"

Go ahead and click on the link, and you get to the dashboard for your "Fan Box".  There are many ways to customize the fan box, but you can see 2 simple edits directly in the dashboard, and this are the "Streams" and "Fans".

Clicking "Streams" comments from your Facebook be fan site in your fan-box be included.  And of course, if it have not clicked, it is not.

The same applies to 'Fans' - when it is clicked, and then is your default number of fans 10, and when it is not clicked, then don't you see all fans.

If you are on the right side bar of this site (see right) search, see my Facebook fan box.  This is the standard box without "Streams" tested and verified with "Fans".

As soon as you select "Streams" or "Fans" are done, there are options to embed in your blogger blog, TypePad blog or others.  If you have a WordPress blog, select "other" and then select the code in the text box that appears.  Then you take this code and Bette it in a Sidebar Widget, or otherwise where you would like to present your fan box.

(3) Use the new feature "Get more fans with SMS"

A lot of people have yet to realize that Facebook now allows people, send a text, and immediately a fan of Facebook fan pages!  Go to your Facebook fan page, find "more" the word (it is in small blue print), click, and opens a drop-down menu.  Look at the menu and you will see "get more fans with SMS".

But wait... There are some limitations to this feature - you are:

You need your own custom username (see # 1 above)

This is really the only limitation.

If you have your own user name, you will see this feature available.  Can you can others told, and you even a brief note on your blog or website with instructions in text to a fan.

Look at the top right of this blog you an example.

The only other thing to remember with the function "get more fans with SMS" is this text, the prices apply.

(4) A custom banner Facebook fan page to your profile Add.

This is my favorite!  It was launched a point of contention since fan pages, and that is the owners had no opportunity to promote their page to their personal friends on Facebook.

The "Fan box on the site" embeds in a Facebook profile.  And without that, how else someone fan page is probably their Facebook for personal friends on Facebook to promote?  People want to emailing not their personal friends all will discuss the time their fan page - most would as ruthless perceive.

** OUR SOLUTION.

Finally, we had about enough people "How to" questions, for this to happen, that we decided we wanted a way - somehow, somehow finding, for this to occur.
